RDA is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of architecture, urban design, and the built environment in the Houston region through educational programs, the publication of Cite:  The Architecture + Design Review of Houston, and the promotion of physical improvements in the city. Membership is open to the general public. With over 2,000 members, RDA represents a wide professional constituency. RDA has a history of public service in design issues for Houston, a record of success in previous design competitions (Sesquicentennial Park, 1985, and Heart of the Park, 1992), and a journal, Cite, which has a wide circulation of those interested in the quality of Houston’s built environment.
